Why we run

One race. Ten children.

Many countries in East Africa have no facilities to care for children with heart disease. Most of these children will die waiting. But now there is hope. The Basic Needs Program is partnering with King Faisal Hospital in Rwanda to care for children across the region.

$2,000 is enough to save one life. This fall, we hope to save 10. To support that goal, Richard will be running the Patapsco Valley 25km. Please consider sponsoring his run!
